At 2WheelsToursMalaga it is important to inform our (future) customers about our general terms and conditions when they go out with our Scooter(s). You can read our terms and conditions in the overview below, read them before you set out to explore Málaga! Going out safely and prepared feels just that little bit better!
Scooter Rental Agreement
The renter agrees to these general terms and conditions when a scooter is rented.
The traffic rules always apply and must be observed!
Our location: Avenida de la Aurora, 3, Local 3.
Scooters can be rented from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The rental times can be found on our Rental page.
2WheelsToursMalaga is the owner of the rental from Electric-/Solar Scooters and the equipment set forth in this lease. To ensure that the Scooter(s) and equipment is used correctly and to guarantee that each user behaves responsibly, and has the best possible experience, the renter agrees to:
1. The minimum age to rent a scooter is 18 years old. There are no exceptions to this.
2. Be responsible for the care and return of the Scooter(s) and accessories (locks, helmet, keys, etc...). Scooter(s) will be inspected upon delivery. They must be returned in the same condition as when they were rented, the user being responsible for any caused damage. In case of theft or loss of the material, the user will have the obligation to pay 2WheelsToursMalaga the amount of the stolen material.
3. The user knows and undertakes to respect traffic laws and regulations and is responsible for any damage caused (to himself or to third parties) as a result of any accident while using the Scooter(s).
4. 2WheelsToursMalaga is not responsible for any type of claim. The user is obliged at all times to lock the Scooter(s) correctly. To avoid theft, it is recommended to always lock it from the frame and roll in fixed places.
In case of theft of the Scooter(s), the lessor must pay the total amount of the same (Cecotec Z-City €600,- , smartGyro K2 Pro €760,- , Solena S80 €1400,- )
5. No more than 1 person is allowed on each scooter at a time. If damage has occurred because several people have been on the scooter, the costs will be borne by the renter. It is also not allowed to drag anything with the scooter(s) in any way.
6. When renting a scooter, it is forbidden to use alcohol or drugs.
7. When we can keep a valid ID/driver's license/passport, we will not ask for a deposit. If no valid ID/driver’s license/passport can be kept, we will make a copy and require a deposit. The deposit may differ depending on which model you rent.
8. No refund will be made for returns before the time stipulated in the contract.
9. The delay in returning the scooter(s) will entail payment of the corresponding fee. This means that if you return later than the reserved time, additional costs will be charged..
10. You use the cycle path. If there is no cycle path, you use the road.
11. The use of a helmet is strongly recommended
12. The use of a telephone (handheld), headphones or earphones while driving is prohibited.
13. You are required to wear a reflective safety vest in poor visibility or when it is dark. Best is to switch on the lights also during daytime to be visible.
14. It is not permitted to drive on the sidewalk, in some tunnels or in pedestrian areas. In general follow the signs on the road!
15. It is not allowed to drive through water and unhardened roads or sand! In case the scooter(s) are very dirty, additional cleaning costs will be charged!
