Picasso Statue
Pablo Ruiz Picasso, is a famous statue in Malaga. The statue is made of bronze by Francisco Lopez Hernandez, which depicts the artist sitting on a marble bench with a notebook and a pencil.
It was unveiled on December 5, 2008.
The statue stands in Plaza de la Merced, opposite Picasso's birthplace, home of the Picasso Foundation.
The height of the statue is slightly higher compared to Picasso's actual height.

Mercado Atarazanas is the largest market in the center of Málaga. The market hall is a lot larger than Mercado de Salamanca in the central district of El Molino. Bustling, traditional covered market with a wide range of (fresh) food and various tapas bars. Open 6 days a week, not on Sundays.
